Jaeho Kim has gained various experiences as an executive search consultant, journalist, strategy consulting consultant, and fund manager. Since Jaeho established the executive search firm ‘Pathfinder’ in the middle of 2015, he has worked with major Korean Conglomerates, financial institutes, and MNCs. He executed around 36 searches last year (2016). Before Pathfinder, he worked at Heidrick & Struggles, a global executive search firm, for eight years and led the Korea office as a Partner-in-Charge for five years. In Heidrick & Struggles, he executed many senior levels of searches in industrial sectors as well as financial sectors. Before Heidrick & Struggles, he worked for the daily newspaper Chosun Ilbo’, the most influential newspaper in Korea. While there, he was the assistant editor of the financial news and business news desk, which covered all financial, industrial, and consumer industries. He worked in New York for four years as a correspondent of Chosun Ilbo. Jaeho also worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for a year. He started his social career at Daehan Investment Trust Co., where he managed funds invested in the Asian Stock Market, particularly in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Jaeho holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois-Urbana Campaign in the US and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Yonsei University in Korea.
