Ilse is an Executive Search Consultant in Odgers Berndtson’s Brussels office, where she specialises in senior-executive assignments within Industry (incl. Logistics), Technology and (Digital) Media & Communication. She is also heading the Not-for-profit practice and representing the DE&I working group in Belgium. Her functional expertise covers General Management through Commercial, Marketing, Communication, HR, Operations and Technical Director positions. With more than 20 years of experience in Executive Search and over 200 assignments, she can benchmark today with a wide network of leaders she has spoken to in those past years. Prior to joining executive search, she acquired extensive MarCom experience in Consumer Electronics (Sony Belgium, Action Shop) and Media (VNU Business Publications and Canal+; now part of Telenet). In 2007, she successfully launched and managed the executive search division of a global recruitment company, focusing on Industry, Technology & Business Services. Later, as Recruitment Manager, she had the opportunity to experience HR at the heart of a multicultural organization undergoing change and she participated in Continuous Improvement projects under the guidance of McKinsey. Ilse holds a degree in Communication and HR, and speaks Dutch, French and English fluently.
