Heidi Rustin is a Partner at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Consumer Practice. Heidi brings more than twenty years of executive search experience specializing in retail, wholesale and ecommerce executive-level searches. She has deep experience recruiting executives cross functionally, including CEO, CFO, Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Merchandising Officers, and leaders in Sales, Creative, HR, and more. Her work has been with companies ranging from founder-led start-ups to multi-billion dollar public, private and private equity-backed entities. Prior to joining JM Search, Heidi co-founded and co-led Bryant Park Search Partners, a high-touch boutique firm with a focus on executive level search for fashion/home, omni-channel retail, and consumer products. For more than eight years, Bryant Park Search built a reputation as a trusted partner to many high-profile brands and several early stage, high-growth companies. Before her foray into entrepreneurialism, Heidi spent three years as a Partner in the Consumer Practice at Heidrick and Struggles, and eleven years at Herbert Mines Associates, where she rose from Principal to Partner. Heidi’s pre-recruiting career was in publishing. In that capacity she was the Associate Publisher at Art & Auction Magazine, and a Sales Director at Conde Nast’s House and Garden magazine. Heidi attended Dickinson College and graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Environmental Design and Art History. She lives in Pound Ridge, New York, an hour north of NYC, with her husband. She and her husband enjoy traveling (often to indulge their passion for food, architecture, and the outdoors.) Her greatest accomplishment is her two adult daughters who have always made her proud and continue to do so as accomplished young women.
