The University of Lincoln is seeking a new Head of the School of Design & Architecture, responsible for providing vision and strategic leadership to the School. The School, formed in September 2024 from the merger of the School of Design with the School of Architecture & the Built Environment, focuses on addressing the need to design, build, and utilize spaces in a socially, economically, and sustainable manner. The successful candidate will be an experienced academic leader with the ability to engage teams, build relationships, and combine strategic thinking with operational execution. The Head of School will play an active role in the wider management of the College, working towards the achievement of the School's plans to grow research, modernize education, improve student outcomes, and motivate staff.

The Head of School will have access to modern, high-quality facilities, including Project Space Plus, an on-campus public gallery for shows and exhibitions. The upcoming opening of the Barbican Creative Hub will provide further opportunities for developing, connecting, and showcasing creative talent.
