Harry is a member of the firm's Technology Sector in the Asia/Pacific region. Harry has more than 15 years of experience working in both financial and high-tech industries and has held various senior positions, including long-short equity fund management, capital fundraising, business development, product management, sales and marketing, and R&D with both start-ups and well-established Fortune 500 companies. He is based in Beijing and Hong Kong. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Harry was Director at Equanum Capital Management, a U.S.-based TMT-focused hedge fund where he managed the Greater China portfolio. Before that, Harry was with Thomson Reuters in China, where he served as Principal TMT Analyst and Head of Expert Networks, working closely with technology leaders within the telecommunications, semi-conductors, and wireless internet industries and building a community of experts within the Pan-Asia region. Prior to working in the financial sector, Harry had over nine years of experience in the wireless telecommunications equipment and handset industry in China, Hong Kong and Korea. He was the Head of Global Core Networks for Motorola in Beijing, where he led the product team at the Motorola-Huawei Joint Research Development Center (JRDC) program. Harry started his career in Hong Kong and held various influential roles within Nortel’s R&D, product management, operations, sales and marketing teams, eventually becoming Senior Manager of the Greater China region. EDUCATION Harry received a B.A.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia and his Beijing International M.B.A. (Bi.M.B.A) from Peking and Fordham Universities. He speaks fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
