The client is seeking a Global Network Director to oversee worldwide network operations encompassing Network Engineering, Data Center Infrastructure, and Network Security. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the reliability and scalability of a global network. The role involves leading teams spread across various regions and ensuring high availability and security in enterprise-scale networks.

The core responsibilities include overseeing data center operations with a focus on capacity planning and disaster recovery, establishing network security standards, and leading network architecture across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with IT leadership and business partners to align network initiatives with organizational goals, manage third-party vendors, and optimize costs. A significant part of the role also involves mentoring teams, managing the global network operations budget, and reporting on network performance and risks to executive leadership.

This role requires 10+ years of experience in network engineering and operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position. Candidates must demonstrate deep expertise in enterprise and global network architecture and have strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network protocols. Experience in supporting large-scale data centers, network security, and public cloud networking is essential. Familiarity with Cisco and Arista technologies is needed, and the candidate should be willing to travel internationally up to 25% of the time. Additional qualifications, such as experience with network automation tools and industry certifications, are considered advantageous.
