George O. Klemp is a core member of Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services and a founding partner of Cambria Consulting, a division of Spencer Stuart acquired in 2020. A trusted advisor in creating leadership assessment and development solutions, George has worked with more than 100 Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, and federal agencies to develop leadership excellence and strategic talent frameworks. He is based in Boston. Cognitive and social psychologist with expertise in leadership and talent development George was a founding partner and the president of Cambria Consulting prior to its acquisition by Spencer Stuart. At Cambria, he led the executive assessment and organizational consulting practices for clients across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Previously, George was a director of research for McBer and Company, where he developed the consulting firm’s methodology for identifying the capabilities and characteristics of high performers. George is a graduate of Harvard College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in social psychology. He also earned a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology and statistics from Yale University.
