Gary Payne is a Partner in Odgers Berndtson’s Houston office serving in the Leadership Advisory and Industrial Practice Groups. He is the US Leader of the Firm’s Construction Practice and is an active participant as an Executive Coach for C-Suite Leaders. Combining over 30 years of experience as a sitting CEO, P&L leader, Executive Coach and Search Consultant, Gary brings a unique strategic insight to his work in the recruitment and development of senior leaders. Prior to beginning his Search Career, Gary was a sitting CEO for a PE backed Construction Services Company before taking the company to an exit. Prior to that, he served as the P&L leader of a boutique Professional Services firm, leading a $90 million operation. Gary works within the full functional disciplines of the C-Suite specializing in CEO, CFO and COO search work. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Gary is an active member of several philanthropic Boards.
