François Chirumberro is a member of our Consumer and Financial Services practices. In combination with his distinctive network and expertise, he brings great talent to Spencer Stuart. François is driven by a high orientation to achieving results that leaves a lasting impact on the organizations and individuals he works with. An entrepreneurial approach to leadership François joined the firm after operating his own advisory company, through which he conducted a range of advisory work, including for Bain & Company, investing in early stage companies in the consumer space and consulting private equity firms and family offices on a range of strategic or investment-related topics. Prior, François spent many years of his career at Boston Consulting Group in London, with stints in Sao Paolo and Shanghai, in the consumer goods and retail and industry sectors. He also brings entrepreneurial experience, having created a service company for wine collectors which was then subsequently acquired. Uniquely, he commenced his career as a winemaker at Veuve Clicquot. François holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School as well as a National Diploma of Enology from the Faculty of Bordeaux. In addition to his native French, he is also fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
