Flávia Leão Fernandes leads the firm’s São Paulo office and is a senior member of the Leadership & Succession practice, where she works closely with Brazilian and Latin American client teams. Flavia is a trusted client advisor, specializing in succession processes, talent strategy, executive leadership development, performance management and culture transformation. She works with both regional and multinational clients across a range of industries, including consumer, financial market, technology, pharmaceuticals, energy and infrastructure. Flavia is based in São Paulo. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE Flavia joined Russell Reynolds Associates after more than 10 years with a leading international executive search firm, where she was a Senior Principal and the Head of Assessment and Succession. Previously, she led the headhunting division at a HR consultancy firm in São Paulo. During her tenure, she was responsible for building the business and working with some of the country’s largest and most visible corporations. EDUCATION Flavia holds a BA in psychology, with honors, from Londrina State University in Brazil, an MSc in developmental psychology from the University of London, a certificate in Leadership from Harvard Business School and an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo. She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
