About Ms. Colyer
Fiona Colyer (née Taylor) brings over a decade of leadership advisory experience having lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, and Sydney. Returning to London in 2025, she sits in the firm’s Financial Services Practice, partnering with clients across insurance, banking, and private capital as well as the broader risk, compliance and controls function globally. Prior to this, she spent five years in Asia, serving clients across the region, specifically within the insurance industry (both life and non-life). Fiona's recent client work spans Australia, Asia, Switzerland, the UK, and Ireland across CEO, CFO, and CRO succession, marketing, distribution, compliance, and audit, reflecting her truly international perspective and reach.
Previously, she was a consultant at a boutique insurance executive search firm. During Fiona's time there, she managed senior and mid-level searches across C-suite, senior underwriting, and functional roles. She also undertook a secondment to the New York office, focusing on the general insurance market and building its first InsurTech proposition.
“I really think a champion is defined not by their wins but by how they can recover when they fall” - Serena Williams
Fiona holds a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Newcastle. During her studies, she received the Sonia Stonehouse Expedition Award for her research on the importance of place in the US film industry.
