He uses his consultative approach to build long-term relationships. Fernando leads the Financial Services, Private Equity and Financial Officers practices in Brazil, and he is based in São Paulo. He works with local and multinational clients of all sizes, across Latin America. He speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish. Fernando has more than 28 years of professional experience, including 9 years at Banco Votorantim, where he worked led their M&A division. Before that, Fernando was an Executive Director with The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked both in USA and in Brazil. He started his career in the Global Corporate Banking Division at Citigroup Brazil. Fernando is passioned about innovation and entrepreneurship. He is an avid reader, an amateur cook and a frequent traveler. Fernando holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, with honors, from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, in Brazil, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He earned a Fundação Estudar scholarship.
