The client, a Christ-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and fostering transformation in the lives of those who have engaged in controlling or abusive behaviors, is seeking an Executive Director in Hillsboro, OR. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit leadership, with strengths in fundraising, revenue diversification, and strategic partnership development. Responsibilities include overall leadership and management of the organization, strategic planning, financial oversight, fundraising, program direction, external relations, and training initiatives. The Executive Director will need to be deeply committed to the mission of the organization, advocating for survivors of domestic violence and fostering transformation among offenders.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director role include developing and implementing a clear and compelling vision aligned with the organization's mission and values, evaluating the existing model for growth opportunities, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The candidate will also lead the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy, cultivate strong relationships with donors and partners, ensure financial stability through budget oversight, and oversee program and organizational management. Additionally, the Executive Director will serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, engage with community leaders and stakeholders, advocate for policies aligning with the organization's mission, and collaborate with the Board of Directors on strategic initiatives.
Qualifications for the role include a Master's degree in social services, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred), a proven track record in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and revenue diversification, experience in developing and executing strategic plans for organizational growth, strong financial acumen, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for faith-based service and commitment to the organization's mission.
