Eric Zakre is an executive search and leadership consultant specializing in technology and operations functions, based in Spencer Stuart’s New York office. He has been a member of the firm’s Technology Officer and Financial Services practices for nearly 10 years, and works primarily on searches for chief operating officers, chief information officers, chief technology officers, and general managers of software and services businesses. Over the course of his career he has partnered with clients across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to sponsor-backed, nonprofit, and government institutions. Expertise in change leadership Eric works with clients grappling with a variety of business challenges, from agility and legacy modernization in global organizations to scalability and operational effectiveness in high-growth environments. He has partnered with organizations at key inflection points on a variety of projects across executive search, succession planning, culture and diversity. Eric works with clients across industries, but largely focuses on the insurance, consumer financial services, asset and wealth management, and fintech sectors. Eric earned an M.A. in organizational psychology with a specialization in change leadership from Columbia University, and graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University with an A.B. in political science.
