Opportunity Details

The client, a global consultancy, is seeking an Energy Transition & Transaction Director to provide leadership to the Energy Transition part of the Transactions & Energy Transition team. The role involves offering energy transition advice to regulated and other utilities in the UK, as well as providing strategic, market, and regulatory advice to corporate and infrastructure fund clients. The Director will also support the Transactions part of the team by offering due diligence advice on large transactions and building enduring client relationships.

The successful candidate will have experience in Consulting or M&A advisory in the Power & Utilities sector, with a focus on energy transition sectors such as regulated utilities, energy efficiency, renewable generation, and more. They should have a strong track record of leading teams and delivering advisory services to large energy companies. Additionally, the candidate should have a good understanding of emerging Net zero technologies, business planning, strategic considerations, and energy policy and economic regulation of utilities.

This role offers a salary of 130,000 - 155,000 PA DOE, along with a car allowance, bonus, and benefits. The position can be based anywhere in the UK. The client is known for being inclusive and values individuals who can work at a fast pace and during intense periods of live transactions.
