Opportunity Details

The client is seeking two experienced SEND Case Officers for an interim 3-month contract in the South East of England. The EHCP Assessment Officers will be responsible for coordinating the EHC needs assessment process, engaging with stakeholders, drafting EHCPs, monitoring outcomes, and supporting families throughout the assessment process. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a full EHCP Assessment Officer role, strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice, excellent plan writing skills, and the ability to work under high-pressure environments.
The EHCP Assessment Officers will play a critical role in ensuring children and young people with special educational needs receive the necessary support through legally compliant EHCPs. Responsibilities include gathering and reviewing reports and evidence, finalizing EHCPs within statutory timescales, and ensuring provisions are appropriate and effectively implemented. The successful candidates will need to have a high level of empathy and the ability to engage effectively with families, as well as respond to queries and provide support throughout the assessment process.
This is a fully remote position with a daily rate of 280 per day. The initial contract is for 3 months with the possibility of extension.
