Ed Mason is a trusted adviser to boards and private equity investors on CEO succession planning and board appointments. With over a decade's executive search experience, he supports British and global clients' growth ambitions by recruiting topflight CEOs, developing executive committee leaders, and by building non-executive boards of directors. A member of our Board & CEO Advisory Partners practice, Ed rejoined Russell Reynolds Associates when The Zygos Partnership became part of the firm in 2017. He previously worked at Skillcapital as a senior associate in the technology and media sector, where he advised clients on board-level recruitment into private equity-backed businesses and conducted due diligence on acquisition targets. Ed spent the first four years of his executive search career in the Board Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates in London, and focused on non-executive recruitment and CEO succession planning for FTSE-listed and private equity-backed companies. Edward holds a BA (Hons) in French from the University of Durham in the UK.
