The client is seeking a Director for the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at Arizona State University. This individual will be responsible for providing academic and administrative leadership to ECEE, including strategic planning, operations, finance, academic affairs, and external relations. The Director will work closely with faculty and staff to recruit and retain students, hire and develop faculty, secure external research funding, and build relationships with industry and the community. Candidates must be qualified for appointment as a full professor and will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and transformation of ECEE as part of ASU's larger engineering school evolution.
ECEE, a part of the client, has over 85 faculty members and 4,000 students enrolled across its Tempe campus and online programs. The school offers degree programs in electrical engineering, computer engineering, robotics, autonomous systems, and data science. The Director will play a key role in advancing electrical, computer, and energy engineering through academic programs and research initiatives, with a focus on addressing societal challenges.
