The client is seeking a Director of Partnerships to build a new growth channel for an AI-native B2B SaaS fintech platform serving PE-backed physical economy businesses. The role will leverage deep understanding of the private equity ecosystem to open doors, build trust, and convert relationships into pipeline and revenue, supporting the platforms growth into a trusted value-creation tool within PE operating playbooks.
Key responsibilities include building a network of operating partners, deal principals, consultants, and commercial operators who engage the PE ecosystem; turning early customer wins into proof points that help establish a repeatable, fund-level partnerships motion; and positioning the platform as a reliable partner for PE firms and their portfolio companies. The role is expected to support scaling during the early growth and scaling phase.
Candidates are expected to have experience with B2B SaaS, fintech, and/or AI-enabled platforms, along with a strong commercial background in business development or partnership leadership. Direct experience working with and/or selling into PE operating teams is required, with a demonstrated track record of building fund-level relationships and converting them into pipeline and revenue. The position is a senior leadership role typically reflected by 1025+ years of progressive career success, and it should reflect a strong sales orientation and operational execution.
