The client, a US based manufacturing business with around 700 employees in New England, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead HR practices across the organization. Reporting directly to the leadership team, this role will involve overseeing a team of six HR Generalists and managing critical systems and programs such as ADP, benefits, compensation, and compliance. The Director of HR will serve as a strategic advisor, working closely with cross-functional leaders to shape a best-in-class HR function that supports the business's goals and people.
Key responsibilities for the Director of HR include developing company-wide HR policies and procedures, collaborating with brokers and vendors to design competitive benefits programs, leading recruitment efforts, and managing employee benefits programs. The successful candidate will also partner with tech to build a streamlined HR roadmap, evaluate and enhance current HR systems and processes, and innovate ways to better communicate and connect employees with HR programs and resources. Additionally, fostering a culture of listening and continuous improvement by understanding employee needs and crafting responsive HR initiatives will be a key focus of this role.
