Our client in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking a Director of Donor Engagement to join their growing Philanthropy team. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, this key leadership role will involve identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors in alignment with the school's mission. Founded in 1900, Asheville School is a small, private, coeducational boarding and day school with a rigorous academic curriculum and a variety of extracurricular offerings set in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Director of Donor Engagement will manage a portfolio of major gift donors, with a focus on Parent Giving, and will be responsible for all phases of the gift cycle. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree, 7-10 years of fundraising experience, and a proven track record of closing six and seven-figure gifts. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $140,000, with significant travel expected. Asheville School is currently in the organizational phase of a capital campaign, providing ample opportunities for growth and increased responsibility within the Philanthropy team.
