The client, a leading charity dedicated to supporting individuals with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and other complex medical conditions, is seeking a Director of Children's Care and Wellbeing to join their team. Based in the countryside between Harlow and Bishops Stortford, the client is committed to providing high-quality care and creating a nurturing environment for their residents and day clients. The Director will be responsible for leading and developing the children's health and care services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
The Director of Children's Care and Wellbeing will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic objectives for children's health and care services, as well as ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and CQC standards. Responsibilities include line managing registered managers and the Head of Service for seven registered children's homes, establishing and monitoring annual budgets, and supporting the CEO in planning and managing the children's health and care service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills, along with experience as a Responsible Individual and Registered Manager.
