The client, a solid and stable company experiencing growth, is seeking a Director of Risk and Compliance in the retail sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the company's risk and compliance management strategy, identifying and mitigating operational, strategic, legal, financial, reputational, and cyber risks. They will also be tasked with implementing and updating the corporate compliance program, developing internal policies, an ethical code, and a whistleblowing channel, as well as promoting a culture of compliance throughout the business.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in risk, compliance, and internal auditing roles. Experience in retail, consumer goods, or risk/compliance consulting sectors is preferred, along with advanced knowledge of relevant regulations such as data protection, criminal compliance, food safety regulations, labor laws, and environmental regulations. Strong analytical skills, strategic vision, and communication abilities at all levels of the organization are essential, as well as professional certifications like ISO, UNE, CCEP, or similar.
