The Charlie Cart Project is seeking a Development Director to play a key role in the organization's growth and impact. The Director will be responsible for fundraising and development strategies, cultivating relationships with foundations, individuals, and corporations, and tapping into existing networks for support. Working closely with the Executive Director and other team members, the Director will help the organization reach its goal of impacting 1 million children by 2030 through strategic fundraising initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a strong connection to the mission of empowering communities through culinary education, be strategic fundraising leaders, and have experience in development and communications.
Candidates for the Development Director position should have excellent communication skills, be proactive problem solvers, and have a thorough understanding of nonprofit fundraising. They should be able to work well with a diverse workforce and customer base, have strong computer skills, and be comfortable taking risks to support the organization's growing budget. The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000, offering an exciting opportunity for a confident fundraiser to take ownership of a growing organization's fundraising strategy and make a significant impact on the future of food education.
