Desiree brings over a decade of executive search experience specialising in Risk Management including appointing Heads of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Risk Culture, Compliance, Enterprise & Operational Risk, and Risk Assurance. Collectively, Desiree and the team at Johnson Partners, have appointed many of the region’s leading CROs, Chief Compliance Officers, and other senior risk leaders across banks, insurers, fintechs, and other financial institutions here in Australia, New Zealand and internationally. Desiree commenced her career in London working in the prime brokerage and equity derivatives groups of UBS and JP Morgan respectively before returning to Sydney to work in Institutional Equity Sales. Desiree’s genuine interest in people and relationship management is what led her to pursuing a career in recruitment and search. She is passionate about partnering with organisations to secure the best talent for their strategic growth. Desiree holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney and is a Director of the Board of the German International School Sydney.
