About Ms. Symons
Dee advises boards and CEOs on succession planning, with expertise in financial and regulated markets. Based in London, Dee conducts leadership assessments and searches for both C-Suite executive and non-executive appointments as part of our Board & CEO Advisory Partners. She advises a wide range of public and private companies, drawing on more than 28 years of experience in executive search and leadership assessment.
Dee joined our firm in 2003 and has established herself as a leading voice for clients looking to solve pressing leadership challenges. Earlier in her career at Russell Reynolds, Dee led our European financial services and global banking practices. She was elected to our Executive Committee in 2010 and, as a member of the Nominations Committee, was involved in our CEO succession. She joined RRA after a decade with two other global executive search firms. Before then, Dee set up a firm that acted as a consultant to the World Economic Forum and The Economist magazine, among other well-known organizations. She began her career at Euromoney Magazine.
"Life is precious. Be kind, be a force for good, contribute your talents where you can to make the world a better place. Seize the day!"
Dee received her MA in liberal arts from Edinburgh University, graduating first in her class. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has a good knowledge of Italian, French, and German.
