Deborah Warburton leads Spencer Stuart’s Human Resources Practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and is based in the firm’s London office. She has more than 15 years of experience in executive search and assessment, specialising in chief human resources officers and direct reports across the function, including senior generalists, talent management, reward leaders and other specialist positions. Global human resources expertise Working internationally across a wide variety of industries for both public and private companies, Deborah has particular expertise in the consumer, financial services and private equity sectors. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Deborah was a partner with a boutique executive search firm, where she established the human resources practice. Deborah began her executive search career with another leading global search firm, where she led the human resources practice in Europe and conducted a wide variety of executive and board assessment projects. Before entering the search industry, Deborah held various roles in Aviva’s general insurance business, focusing on post-merger integration, international distribution strategy and account management. Deborah graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelor of Science (honours) in psychology and earned an MBA from Cambridge University’s Judge Business School. She has lived and worked in Germany and the United Kingdom.
