The client, located in San Jose, California, is seeking a Dean for the Connie L. Lurie College of Education. The Dean will be responsible for leading the College in a visionary and collaborative manner, building on its strong foundation and enhancing its impact on campus and in the community. The client, founded as a teacher training institution, has a long history of serving students in California and is committed to scholarly innovation and community engagement. The Dean will have the opportunity to further expand the College's research profile, develop new academic programs, and establish collaborations with various partners in Silicon Valley and beyond.

The Lurie College of Education at the client prepares educators, counselors, therapists, and education leaders through a variety of degree programs and initiatives. The College focuses on developing the knowledge, skills, and ethics needed to ensure equity and excellence for all students in a diverse and global community. With recent enrollment growth, increased student support, and new equity initiatives, the next Dean will be tasked with building on these successes and continuing the College's positive trajectory and impact in California and beyond.
