This role is suited for a visionary leader who can guide the College towards growth and distinction within the context of a rapidly progressing R1 research university. As the chief administrative and academic leader, the Dean will set the strategic vision for academic programs, advancing excellence in curriculum, faculty achievements, and student success. With AACSB accreditation in place, the Dean will build upon this foundation to enhance academic quality, foster innovation, and boost the College's standing both regionally and nationally.

The College of Business & Entrepreneurship enrolls close to 2,000 students, supported by strong corporate partnerships within South Florida's business landscape, covering sectors like healthcare, finance, and AI-driven industries. The Dean will guide a dynamic business school with a commitment to entrepreneurship, experiential learning, and career-focused education. Responsibilities include promoting venture creation, enterprise development, and interdisciplinary collaboration while integrating emerging technologies across programs. Additionally, the Dean will strengthen ties with alumni, employers, corporate partners, donors, and community leaders locally and globally.

Ideal candidates should possess significant senior-level leadership experience from either academic or corporate backgrounds, with a proven track record of decision-making authority. An advanced degree in business or a related discipline is required, though prior academic leadership experience is preferred. Those with distinguished business leadership credentials and a strong commitment to education will also be considered.
