Mr. David Wu is the Founder, CEO and Managing Partner of GMPTALENT International, focusing on senior level search and leadership consulting for clients in the Greater China and Asia region. Prior to establish GMPTALENT International in 2012, David had a leadership role at Korn/Ferry International, where he worked with clients in the Industrial, Consumer, Life Sciences, Technology and Banking sector in the Greater China region.  Before that, David spent nearly 7 years with a global recruitment company, in various leadership roles for operations and finance in North America and Asia.  David has worked in Asia since 2004, first as Regional Finance Controller of Asia, based in Singapore. He then took on an operations leadership role in Chengdu China, established the first international recruitment company in Xi’an, Chongqing and Wuhan in 2007.  Prior to his transfer to Asia, David spent 16 years in Canada and the U.S., worked for listed MNCs such as RR Donnelly and American Standard. Born and raised in Shanghai, David speaks fluent English and Mandarin. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences degree from University of Calgary, Canada. He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  David is a Certified Organizational Coach at Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL). He is also a Practitioner of Lumina Spark Psychometric Assessment.
