David Speicher is a Partner at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Technology Practice. He has 20 years of experience advising financial services, financial technology and SaaS companies on identifying, attracting, and retaining senior-level talent. He focuses on executing C-level and VP-level searches. He is passionate not only about the value human capital delivers to investors, but also to the critical importance of assessing fit for culture.​ Prior to joining JM Search, David was Co-Founder and Managing Partner at a retained search firm specializing in searches across traditional and alternative asset classes in the investment management industry. He was previously responsible for national recruiting and talent management for Hirtle, Callaghan & Co., an asset management firm with over $15 billion under advisement. He also participated in numerous firm-wide business and growth strategy initiatives for the firm. Earlier, he worked for a national retained executive search firm on searches in healthcare, financial services and non-profit organizations. David also served in the United States Navy in various capacities in naval aviation and cryptology.​ David has three children and lives in Devon, PA. Outside of the office, he enjoys surfing, wine, cooking, mountain biking, and skiing. He received a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of South Carolina.
