David Grosso is a member of our global Financial Services, Asset Management and Private Equity practices at Spencer Stuart. He focuses on engagements for alternative asset managers with deep expertise advising private equity, private credit, liquid credit, growth equity, venture capital, infrastructure and real estate managers on human capital needs. David works across multiple functional areas including investing, capital raising, product development and strategy. Driving the growth of private market investment platforms and teams David has executed over 100 assignments for his clients while at Spencer Stuart, including significant work across marquee investment platforms. He has over a decade of experience placing senior investment, capital formation, operations and strategy leaders. In addition to his executive search work, David advises clients on corporate, advisory and fund board needs. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, he spent five years with another executive search firm where he focused exclusively on serving the alternative asset management space. Previously, David worked for a middle-market private equity firm focused on consumer products, industrials and services, where he originated and led diligence for middle- and lower-middle-market buyout opportunities across North America. David is a graduate and active alumnus of Boston College, where he received dual B.S. degrees in economics and applied psychology & human development. He focused on organizational design.
