David Detrilles, based in Brussels, conducts local and international executive searches and leads assessments for C-suite executives in financial services firms. David is a trusted advisor to leaders in the private equity, real estate, banking and insurance industries and is a core member of our Financial Services, FinTech and Financial Officers practices. Within his sectors of expertise, David also supported his clients in the recruitment and assessments of non-executive directors. Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, David was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Co., where he worked on strategic and organizational topics for financial institutions, as well as power, gas and chemical companies. David has also held key roles at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund and BNP Paribas. David holds a master’s degree in business engineering from the Solvay Business School and the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. He also holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Fulbright Scholar. David is fluent in French, Dutch and English and conversational in Spanish.
