Our client, Still She Rises, Inc. is seeking a Criminal Defense Practice Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations and development of the Criminal Defense Practice. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the Executive Director and Legal Director to ensure alignment with strategic goals, develop innovative motions and strategies, and implement training materials for staff. Responsibilities include managing relationships with peer organizations, supervising attorneys and paralegals, and promoting a culture of inclusion and belonging for clients and team members. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of criminal defense practice experience, a J.D. from an American Bar Association accredited law school, and a commitment to racial, gender, and social equity.

Preferred qualifications include indigent defense experience, exceptional team building and management skills, and experience working on collaborative legal teams. Strong candidates will offer multi-cultural competence, a history of building and maintaining strong staff relationships, and a proven track record of successfully leading projects. The salary for this position is $120,000 with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, FSA, and 401K with a 4% employer contribution, as well as relocation support.
