Opportunity Details

The client is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the daily operations of Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Planning and Facilities, and Communications. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will work closely with the management team to ensure the effective execution of strategic and operational plans to support the organization's growth. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field, along with senior leadership experience in the healthcare or long-term care sectors. They should possess strong business and financial acumen, as well as the ability to develop short and long-range plans to achieve organizational goals.
The COO will be responsible for creating streamlined and integrated systems and processes to support the expansion of beds and services within the organization. They will need to have a strategic mindset and be able to articulate a vision for the organization and their functions. The ideal candidate will also have a collaborative leadership style, working with leaders across the organization to integrate the unique needs of each clinical operation with corporate service functions. They should have a mentoring approach to leadership, focusing on building teams and developing leaders within the organization.
