The Chief Operating Officer position at the client is a critical executive leadership role overseeing finance, estates, and information management and technology. The client is a local charity in Leeds that has been providing expert palliative care and support for over 45 years. The COO will report to the Chief Executive and be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of key support functions, serving as the Company Secretary, and leading risk management and sustainability efforts.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant with senior leadership experience, a strong understanding of governance, and experience in contract management, digital, and commercial operations. More importantly, the client is looking for someone who is passionate about their cause and the impact they have on the community in Leeds. The successful applicant will be a compassionate and energetic leader who can work strategically with a talented Executive team to support the delivery of high standards of care in a hospice environment.
