Assisted Living Alberta (ALA) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the transformation of Alberta's continuing care, home care, and community care systems. ALA aims to provide timely and convenient access to high-quality health, social, and wraparound services for all Albertans, supporting aging in place and independence. The CEO will play a crucial role in driving innovation and ensuring that individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those facing addiction or mental health challenges, can access the care they need.

The CEO will work to enhance the provision of assisted living services across the province, coordinating with providers to meet the evolving needs of Albertans. With the demand for assisted living services expected to increase significantly in the coming years, the CEO will lead efforts to expand access to care and support a sustainable system. This role requires a visionary leader who can anticipate emerging trends, develop strategic partnerships, and advocate for policies that promote individualized care and independence.

Reporting to the Minister of Seniors, Community and Social Services, the CEO of ALA will have the opportunity to influence policy development, service delivery models, and resource allocation strategies.
