Description

The Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art is seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead its philanthropic efforts in support of its mission of land conservation and American art preservation. Our client, founded in 1967, has an annual operating budget of $11 million and is known for protecting the natural resources of the Brandywine Valley and showcasing the artistic legacy of the area, particularly the Wyeth family. The Chief Development Officer will be responsible for building a sustainable culture of philanthropy, conceptualizing and implementing fundraising programs, and cultivating relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, dynamic leader with a commitment to exceeding expectations and a passion for Brandywine's mission. They will possess strong strategic leadership and team management skills, fundraising expertise, and exceptional communication abilities. The Chief Development Officer will work closely with the Executive Director/CEO and Program Directors to achieve short- and long-term fundraising objectives, maintain relationships with donors and volunteers, and lead a team of development professionals.
