The client is seeking a Chief Development & Marketing Officer to serve as an enterprise leader on the executive leadership team. The role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, advancing the clients brand, and strengthening donor engagement across all channels. The CDMO will partner closely with the CEO and the Board of Governors through the Development & Marketing Committee to set and execute an integrated fundraising, marketing, and brand strategy that supports long-term mission impact.
Leading a team of 60+, the CDMO unifies development, marketing, and communications under a single enterprise strategy. The position blends storytelling and revenue generation to clearly communicate the clients mission and demonstrate its ability to support service members and military families wherever duty calls. It will also leverage data, analytics, digital engagement, and best-in-class fundraising practices to scale multi-channel revenue, deepen donor loyalty, and elevate national awareness of the clients impact.
The CDMO will provide enterprise-wide leadership for fundraising and brand activities, with end-to-end responsibility for strategy, execution, and performance across multiple revenue channels. These channels include direct response, major gifts, corporate partnerships, and foundations and grants. The role ensures the clients brand consistently reflects its distinctive global presence and continuum of support across installations, transit hubs, ships, and contingency environments worldwide, while expanding philanthropic investment in a rapidly evolving philanthropic and media landscape.
