The client is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to lead fundraising and engagement efforts in support of the institution's dynamic learning community. With a new head of school and a recently completed $200 million campaign, the CAO will play a key role in strategizing and developing future fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in building philanthropic programs and increasing donor commitment, as well as a bachelor's degree. The CAO will work closely with the senior leadership team to strengthen the office of advancement and increase alumni and parent engagement.
Reporting to the head of school, the CAO will be responsible for setting a strategy for advancement that aligns with the institution's broader priorities. This includes increasing the endowment towards $100 million and implementing data-driven outreach and fundraising strategies. The successful candidate will be imaginative, experienced, and capable of building and deploying an integrated advancement operation. They will also be expected to engage with students, parents, and alumni, build relationships with faculty and staff, and be actively involved on campus.
