Caris Wong advises Consumer, Digital, Private Equity, and Growth firms on transformational leadership and board appointments. Based in Hong Kong, Caris works primarily across Greater China and Asia, while partnering closely with US and EMEA colleagues on cross-regional mandates. Previously, Caris led the China entry and joint venture of a growth-stage media and entertainment venture with China Media Capital. Before that, she was the director of Asia development for Caesars Entertainment. She began her career working in Bain & Company’s Hong Kong and London offices, where she was a project leader advising private equity funds and multinational corporations on M&A and Asia/China entry and growth. Caris holds a BS and an MS, with honors, in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Caris is a steering committee member of the 30% Club in Hong Kong, promoting inclusion on boards and senior management teams. She was previously a TechnoServe Fellow in Tanzania.
