Description

The client is seeking experienced and strategic board members to support the growth and transformation of a private equity-backed healthcare services company, with a focus on Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and related operations. This full-time position can be remote or located at the client's headquarters in Chicago, IL. The role involves providing strategic oversight, executive guidance, RCM and healthcare expertise, financial stewardship, transformation and change support, governance and risk management, and network leverage.

Ideal candidates will have deep expertise in healthcare operations, RCM, technology enablement, private equity value creation, or M&A. Prior board experience or executive-level leadership in high-growth, PE-backed environments is strongly preferred. Qualifications include prior experience serving on a board of directors or as a CEO/senior executive in a growth-stage or PE-backed business, a strong understanding of governance responsibilities, fiduciary duties, and investor relations, in-depth knowledge of revenue cycle management, payer strategy, compliance, billing/coding, or healthcare operations, familiarity with RCM technology platforms, experience operating within a private equity environment, and a proven track record of helping organizations evolve through technology, process improvement, or organizational design.

The compensation for this role is commensurate with experience. This is an exciting opportunity to help guide a PE-backed healthcare services company through rapid growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. The client is looking for collaborative, forward-thinking leaders who are passionate about innovation in healthcare and thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability environments. Responsibilities include providing governance, insight, and accountability, supporting and challenging the CEO and executive team, offering insights and oversight on revenue cycle operations, overseeing financial performance, capital structure, and key investment decisions, ensuring strong governance practices, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation frameworks, and introducing relevant connections for business development, partnerships, executive talent, or acquisition targets.
