The client is seeking a dynamic and experienced fundraising leader to serve as Associate Vice Chancellor for Development at a pivotal moment in its growth. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, this seasoned advancement professional will have a strong understanding of public higher education and comprehensive fundraising operations. The role involves providing strategic leadership and oversight for central fundraising programs, including annual giving, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations, major gifts, and various development programs, while collaborating closely with the Vice Chancellor to enhance and expand overall advancement efforts.

The Associate Vice Chancellor will lead strategic fundraising initiatives to advance the mission and goals of the institution. The individual will serve as a frontline fundraiser and mentor, managing key donor relationships, securing major gifts, and coaching development staff to achieve ambitious fundraising targets. In addition to establishing performance metrics and implementing best-practice fundraising strategies across various programs, the role requires evaluating program effectiveness and driving operational improvements. This role involves guiding a high-performing development team to foster a university-wide culture of philanthropy.
