The client, a global leader in innovative solutions for the construction industry, is seeking an APAC Financial Controller to provide financial leadership across Australia and the APAC region. This important finance leadership position will involve developing and executing financial strategies to contribute to the overall success of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, profitability, and effective financial management across divisions.
Key responsibilities for the APAC Financial Controller include contributing to business strategy, capital investments, and process improvement projects. The role also involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and audit requirements, as well as partnering with the VP/GM to set financial targets and KPIs. The ideal candidate will be a CA/CPA-qualified professional with previous senior finance experience in a multinational organization, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of leadership, strong commercial acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, COGNOS, and various business intelligence tools. This individual will possess a results-driven mindset, strong analytical and decision-making skills, and the ability to lead and influence teams to foster a high-performance culture.
