Angela Smith brings over fifteen years of domestic and international experience in executive search. She has represented multiple industries throughout her career including manufacturing, healthcare, entertainment, and professional services. Her primary focus has centered around the engineering, construction and environmental industries, recruiting at all levels of an organization and across all functions. As Vice President of Operations at CareerSMITH, Angela is responsible for operations and managing full search execution, from the design and implementation of sourcing and recruitment strategies to guiding a candidate through the recruitment lifecycle. She takes tremendous pride in effectively evaluating client needs and utilizes professional interviewing strategies to accurately assess candidates based on established criteria. She is also involved in coordinating client relationship development, spearheading compensation negotiations, and transitioning candidates. A consummate professional, Angela regularly attends engineering and construction industry conferences as well as those specific to the executive search industry. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and former Board Member of the Staffing Management Association of Southern California, a special interest chapter of SHRM. Angela earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
