Previously, Amey was an organizational effectiveness consultant with The Home Depot and UPS, where he specialized in talent management and employee engagement. Amey is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned a B.S. in psychology and an M.S. and Ph.D. in behavior and brain sciences. His graduate school research focused on the flow state (i.e., being “in the zone”) with athletes and artists.
