Dr. Alexander Prokot serves German and international clients, focusing on executive and non-executive roles in real estate/alternative assets, financial services/banking, and private equity. He offers invaluable experience and insights into the real estate and broader alternatives market to clients, investors, users, operators, and advisers on critical recruitments and broader leadership issues. He serves as a true advisor and sparring partner in exhibiting his deep, holistic perceptiveness. His expertise covers investment and asset management, distribution, transactional services, and developments/technical services across all asset classes, ranging from real estate to impact investing. Based in Frankfurt, he also works in the general financial services industry and attends to the needs of commercial and real estate banks, asset managers, and family enterprises. Before he joined Russell Reynolds Associates, Alexander oversaw Jones Lang LaSalle’s German asset and property management business units for more than five years. He was also lead MD for Tétris Projects, a business line covering turn-key design-and-build and workplace solutions. In this context, he established strategic partnerships with proptechs, implemented ERP software programs, and oversaw M&A processes and integration. Prior to that, he headed corporate strategy at Eurohypo/Hypothekenbank in Frankfurt. He started his career at McKinsey & Co., where he advised international banking, private equity, and real estate clients for more than seven years. Dr Alexander Prokot obtained a business administration degree at Frankfurt's J.W. Goethe University, an MBA in corporate finance and accounting at the Henry B. Tippie School of Management at the University of Iowa, and his PhD in finance/capital markets at the University of Chemnitz in Germany.
