Alberto Malave is a Vice President at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Healthcare Technology & Life Sciences Practice. He specializes in recruiting senior leaders in the Digital Health and Technology space, primarily for private equity and venture capital portfolio companies. Prior to JM Search, Alberto started his career as a product manager for a variety of early-stage, venture backed technology companies. He spent close to 7 years building functional, product-led teams primarily in the digital health and financial technology spaces. For the past 3 years, Alberto was a Principal at a retained boutique executive search firm based out of San Diego. He recruited C-level talent for a wide variety of tier-1 private equity partners within technology & healthcare. Alberto earned his B.B.A. from The University of British Columbia with a focus in entrepreneurship and finance. Alberto resides in Ljubljana, Slovenia with his wife and two young boys. During his free time, he enjoys playing ice hockey, backcountry skiing, and sailing.
