Albert Climent is a member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice as well as the North American Board and CEO practices. He is devoted to client work full time following six years managing the Silicon Valley office, where he led the firm’s searches for technology clients in the region. He draws on an extensive international background as an industry executive in the storage, computing and semiconductor industries. Albert’s search work has focused on domestic and international executive and board assignments from technology startups to Fortune 100 companies, including chief executive officers, chief financial officers, chief operating officers, general managers, sales, marketing, operations, human resources and engineering. Worldwide technology experience With more than 20 years of experience in leading worldwide teams, Albert has held executive management positions with international responsibility in sales, marketing, engineering, product management, manufacturing operations and executive general management. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Albert was a senior vice president of worldwide sales, service and support at Celerity. Previously, at Read-Rite/Western Digital, he held the positions of vice president and general manager of the company’s largest business unit as well as the corporate marketing function. Albert held management positions in engineering, product management and manufacturing operations at Amdahl Corporation/Fujitsu. He has also developed and led several successful entrepreneurial ventures. Albert earned his Bachelor of Science in engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and holds a master’s in business administration from St. Mary’s College of California. Albert is fluent in English and Spanish.
